Becky Davies


Becky Davies was born and raised in California. She received a B.S. degree in University Studies at Brigham Young University, while simultaneously earning her Licensed Practical Nursing degree from then, Utah Technical College, now Utah Valley University. Becky worked as a nurse at several hospitals before leaving the workforce to be a stay-at-home mom. Currently, she does consulting for an ambulatory surgery center, and serves on the Macy’s Advisory Board in San Diego.

Becky wrote the curriculum for “The Liberty Project,” a non-partisan community class on the Constitution and Founding Principles, which has been taught for past five years. In 2017, with the help of other teachers, the class is being offered in eight locations throughout the San Diego area.

Becky has served as ward Young Women's president, stake Primary president, stake Cultural Arts Specialist, Seminary teacher (17 yrs), and Institute instructor (20 yrs). She has also been a presenter at BYU Education Week for the past three years. She currently serves as the Coordinating Council Director of Public Affairs for the San Diego, Southwest Riverside and Imperial Counties.

Becky is married to Jim Davies, an Ophthalmologist with an office/surgery center in Carlsbad, CA. She is the mother of seven children and has 15+ grandchildren. She currently lives in Poway, California.
