On Saturday morning, come and join us as we hike the trails of scenic Torrey Pines State Reserve. We will carpool from the San Diego North Stake Center, leaving at 8:30 a.m.Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve is a beautiful seaside hiking area. Gradually sloping hills of auburn rocks with dirt trails approach a high bluff overlooking the beach. The area is scattered with the rare Torrey Pine and other shrubbery and plants.
Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve has two parking lots—one at the base of the reserve (the north lot) and one up at the top (the south lot). Parking in the south lot at the top gets you the closest access to the start of the trails. Torrey Pines has hiking trails of varying difficulty, making it an ideal place for most visitors’ fitness levels.
