April is a Marriage and Family Therapist 18 years of experience working in the field of Behavioral Health. She has helped teens, parents, and couples bravely face depression, anxiety, addiction and family crisis. She has an attachment-based approach to therapy, viewing distress as a symptom of disconnection and recovery as the process of securing safe, loving bonds with others.

April’s experience working at Anasazi Foundation instilled a love of nature and a passion for utilizing spirituality in the healing process. She challenges individuals and families to understand, forgive, take risks and realize their worth. April has a part-time coaching business in San Diego, specializing in relationships and wellness. She makes time for running, cycling, hiking, cooking, traveling, and training for races with her husband.
