About Jamie Pyatt
I grew up in San Diego. After high school, I earned a Bachelors in Social Work and later a Masters in Social Work. both from BYU. I served a mission in the Tegucigalpa Honduras mission. While serving, the church evacuated my mission and all the missionaries were re-assigned, and I was sent to McAllen, Texas. I have been married for 14 years and have an 11-year-old daughter. I have worked as a Child Protective Investigator and at The Family Support and Treatment Center doing play therapy with abused children. I also worked at LDS Family Services for ten plus years, at Rady Children’s Hospital as a Social Worker, and with Sharp Hospice Care. I currently work part-time in private practice in Carlsbad. I love the ocean, hiking, being with my family and doing anything that takes me outside.
